A coastal municipality in the Ferrol comarca. Known for Santo André de Teixido.
A seafaring town on the Costa Ártabra, with a historic quarter beside the ría and a large town beach, A Magdalena. It's the gateway to the Serra da Capelada and to San Andrés de Teixido, Galicia's most magical shrine. On the table, marraxo Cedeira-style; its big festival is the Virxe do Mar, in August.
