1 · Register (padrón)
The first step: register on your council's padrón. You'll need it for the health card, school and most aid.
2 · Health card & doctor
Once registered, request the Sergas health card at your health centre and choose a doctor or paediatrician.
3 · School, if you have children
Check the school admission deadlines and, for ages 0-3, the nursery schools.
4 · Getting around
Interurban bus, train and Ferrol's town bus: see the comarca's transport options.
5 · Everyday services
Water, power, waste and recycling are handled with your council and the utilities. And check the aid you may qualify for.
6 · Make the comarca yours
Find out what's on: the agenda, weekend plans, the beaches and the places worth seeing.
