Ortigueira
A coastal municipality in the Ortegal comarca. Known for Festival do Mundo Celta.
In the heart of the Ortegal, between the Ortigueira e Ladrido ría — a wetland of international importance (Ramsar) full of birds — and cliffs like those of Loiba, home to «the best bench in the world», a simple seat turned viral icon of the Rías Altas. World-famous for its Ortigueira Celtic Festival (July), it celebrates Santa Marta at the end of that month.
