Fene
A coastal municipality in the Ferrol comarca. Known for Museo do Humor.
A council on the southern shore of the ría de Ferrol, a step from the city across the Ponte das Pías, with a strong industrial and naval tradition: the historic Astano shipyard (Perlío, 1941) became one of Europe's largest, specialising in big oil tankers. It is home to the Museo do Humor, founded in 1984 by cartoonist Xaquín Marín and the only one of its kind in Spain. It revives its Festas Agostinas of San Salvador in early August.
