Cariño
A coastal municipality in the Ortegal comarca. Known for Cabo Ortegal.
A fishing town in the Ortegal, at the foot of Cabo Ortegal, where the Cantabrian and Atlantic seas meet amid record-breaking cliffs and some of the most singular rocks in Europe (Geopark). It lives from the sea — famous for its gooseneck barnacles — and honours its patron, San Bartolomeu, in late August.
