Estaca de Bares: the northernmost point of the peninsula
Estaca de Bares, between the rías of Ortigueira and Viveiro, is the northernmost point of the Iberian Peninsula. Its historic lighthouse has watched over the meeting of the Atlantic and the Cantabrian Sea for centuries, and the wind-battered cape is a notable bird migration route.
