Castelo dos Andrade: the medieval tower of Pontedeume
The Castelo dos Andrade in Pontedeume is the medieval tower-fortress that was the seat of the Andrade, the lineage that ruled these Galician lands in the Middle Ages. Overlooking the Eume estuary, the restored tower offers views of the town and coast and houses a small local-history interpretation centre.
