The Festival Irmandiño of Moeche (its 47th edition in 2026) takes place on 21, 22 and 23 August around the Castelo de Moeche. It commemorates the 1431 Irmandiño revolt, when the people, led by Roi Xordo, rose against their lord Nuño Freire de Andrade.
Three days of medieval market, the storming of the castle, repichoca and folk and traditional concerts — headlined in 2026 by Tanxugueiras.
