🟠 Weather warnings
MeteoGalicia issues colour-coded warnings — yellow (caution), orange (danger) and red (extreme danger) — for rain, wind, waves, snow or heat. Check them before any outdoor plan.
🌊 On the coast
In a storm, the Costa Ártabra sea is dangerous: keep away from breakwaters and wave-battered rocks. On the beach, obey the flag of the day — green, yellow or red.
🔥 Summer wildfires
From July to September the fire risk is high: burning is banned and extra care is needed in the countryside. If you see a fire, report it at once.
